Thanks for taking the time out to have a read of the source of article. I’d like it known that the SST reporter called me completely out of the blue and decided to label me an “advertising industry insider”. That’s not my doing.

And I’m not envious of Jeremy Wells. What he does holds no gravitas from me. The point of my post is simply to observe a trend in New Zealand marketing.

If you do have some valid points to discuss here, please do.

Having read yesterdays Sunday Star Times I came away thinking you’re obviously envious of Jeremy Wells as the article and your comments were absolute rubbish.
I contemplated going into detail here and point out the ridiculousness and incorrectness of the claims/comments you made, but then I read that you’re an “advertising insider” so thought better of it as this status must mean you know what you’re talking about.
Far be it for me to tackle such an intellectual industry giant who has his finger on the pulse of the NZ advertising scene.

After registering my interest to join Meridian and getting back an email saying “Thanks, we’ll be in touch soon!”, it has been 7 weeks and counting – no followup. Jeremy Wells, that’s not funny…

But I heard Jeremy Wells was out of work and needed a gig – one has to eat so Meridian was probably a good fit for his needs at the time. It’s hard being an actor in NZ at times, even a famous one.
